OP although it wasnt with Chase or Amex but another bank that I used my CC pts with, apx 1 min after purchasing the tkt I realized the same flight the day before was now available at teh same fare , I called up and was told no problem but theres a $75 fee , I said Airlines have a 24 hr no fee CX policy, and was told true but we arent an airline and we charge a fee even 1 sec after you made the purchase. Wont ever book via anyone but the airlines themselves any longer.

Also if you run into a problem the Carrier most likely will tell you to contact your TA to work things out. When Covid hit I was holding afew trips booked via Chase and even thou the Carrier eventually refunded the tkts Chase still said all I have is a voucher , yet their CC got their money back.
