Shortening of the quarantine period from 14 to 10 days for vaccinated travellers is suspended for all inbound travellers, not just those coming from the omicron concern areas. Suspension remains in effect until 31st of December. This part I needed the Japanese version to find. Will update the wiki to reflect this after dinner.
Is this a retroactive change that applies to people who were admitted under the old rules as well? As in, if you were at day 8 and about to go out and get your day 9 test when the they cancelled the options for shortening, are you stuck for an extra 4 days?
...asking as a vaccinated person currently in quarantine who was admitted under the old rules and was planning on that shortened quarantine.
