Just find another hotel. I give up on the Hyatt. Poor service and sub standard rooms.
Not sure when you last stayed at the GH, but I did 15 nights there starting the end of Dec 2020 and continuing into Jan 2021 for Globalist. The room was very good, though just the basic king bedroom and the service was fantastic, though my Thai GF's cousin stayed there most of that time, as she was looking to move to Bangkok from the countryside. We received numerous delightful food and beverage amenities, including a birthday cake for the cousin, even though I was just a base member, though had stayed there numerous times in the past as a DIA/GLOB. FD staff were very efficient and friendly, as were the housekeeping staff.

I've stayed at many of the hotels along Sukhumvit and the Soi's: IC, HI, Athene, Conrad, Aloft, HIX Soi 11, HR, Westin, SGS, HP, and Marriott Queen's Park, as well as many others around town., The GH basic rooms are similar to the others' basic rooms and the suites are also very comparable. Not sure what you found that was so different, as you don't bother giving any details. The river view is better from the ROS of course.
