Absolutely true. Flyertalk would be a very different website indeed, if it were restricted to discussion of necessary, non-frivolous travel. Thank goodness Flyertalk isn't about need!

I'm really glad I have visited Japan many times, and have seen a sunset there in person, which is immeasurably better than trying to do so virtually. It's much better in person. It's a beautiful country -- and a beautiful world -- and I hope we all can see as much of it as possible, in person
