The problem with this "benefit" is that it isn't really a benefit. Any guest can request a late checkout, and most hotels grant it if it's available. Elites don't get treated differently in this case. If they're not allowing late checkout, they're not allowing it for anybody, and vice versa.

Hilton should just chuck this fake "benefit." It's really just a reminder that guests can request a late checkout if it's available.
