The Gantry London, Curio Collection by Hilton
Seemingly like most new hotels nowadays, it was late opening, but the doors are finally open. It was just a quick visit and still in their soft open phase, so I'm sure someone will be along with a full review soon.

It's just across the road from Stratford International Station, so you can get to St Pancras in 7 mins. There's also Stratford International DLR station, and it's a short walk though Westfield from Stratford station, so great transport links to get into Central London, Canary Wharf or Kent. Handy for the shops too.
I'd been upgraded to a Deluxe view room, but I arrived at night and left early, so couldn't see much of the Olympic park.

Just up the road is a medium sized Sainsburys, and the East Village has plenty of bars and restaurants all within a few mins walk from the hotel. Westfield also has quite a food food venues.
I settled for takeaway fish n chips from
Fish House.

Breakfast for those that have status are offered a choice of 4 or 5 dishes. I went for the full English, which was very tasty.
All the staff are very keen and helpful. I think when it opens the rooftop bar will be quite popular with the locals and guests.
Hopefully I'll go back soon and experience the rooftop bar and see it in daylight!
