Minor correction:
To the best of my knowledge, you cannot send a text to a landline. Perhaps just transposed, call landline to recite text received on mobile.

Travel Technology forum is a great place. I found just the right plan for my mobile phone when I was looking after the great recession in 2008 (?) caused my dream job to go out of existence and with it my employer supplied mobile and data (with their permission for my paltry personal use of phone calls and texts).
