Problem is, there were several occasions that I had requested at checkout to be emailed an invoice. The front desk person would manually trigger the email in my presence - “wait a few minutes” they’d say - but the email never arrived. So I’m not sure how requesting them to re-trigger via chat will achieve a different outcome.
I do miss the days back when I receive an emailed bill even before I step out of the hotel door…
