Not sure what you're talking about. Wide-bodies can use at least 9 of the 12 gates on the main (larger part) F concourse. Easily 90% of the wide-bodies UA operates on domestic routes depart out of F. All the Hawaii flights, almost all of the EWR flights. I think I can recall two domestic flights out of the G concourse - both to IAD. Every Hawaii or EWR wide-body I've been on has been out of F.
