Word of caution if you want to use free days at non-aisle locations.

Some non-aisle locations will open your contract before your arrival in an effort to speed up the process - they ask for your name and grab the printed contract, ask you what vehicle you want, write the vehicle number down on the sheet and gives you the key. Sometimes it's faster than waiting at the gate at aisle locations if there is no one waiting in front of you.

Yesterday I had a reservation with a free day at 8:00PM, however the contract was open at 4:00PM and I once its opened, it can't be modified or cancelled on the phone, and if you don't show up, the free day will basically get eaten by the system and you will need to call in to Customer Service to have it credited back manually.

The CSR said she put a note on my file to have locations "not pre open this customer's contract", although I think it's only an issue when you no-show and I am not sure how much slower the process would be without that. I will see and call back to have that note removed if needed once I experience both ways

EDIT: also because I am under 25, I believe the more "normal" my profile looks like, the less time they gonna spend on me and the more likely they are not gonna care about me and hand me keys for better vehicles. I will probably call in later to have that note removed
