Yes, I would definitely stick with the SkyClub on my own. Having guests would be the only reason I would trek all the way over to F from C for the Centurion Lounge. Same for when I fly in First on Alaska, which gets you access to the new Alaska Lounge in D (paid and award First, but not upgrades).
