No, it is based on check-out date but the same does not apply to check-in date.
Also, separate reservations at the same property aren't guaranteed to help. They'll be combined into one reservation for earnings/bonus purposes, and only in some uncommon instances have members been able to get CS to apply those separately (eg stays over New Years)
