Does anyone know what time Qantas opens its check in counters at TBIT? I checked the site and it said 6pm but just wanted to double check because that would only mean 2.5 hours before the departure of QF12 (8:30pm)... Asking because I am connecting from NY and I want to minimize the time I'm at LAX landside since I don't want to carry my luggage around...(Edit: Unfortunately, the NY-LA portion is on a separate ticket so AA won't through check my bags)
