That's so subtle I had to be told it was there and believe me I was looking for it. I believe in the newer cabins they don't use the orange antimacassar anymore but I think distinguishing it with that is more obvious. I don't think people are looking for accurate colour information in seat maps like these, but more the other physical properties like seat pitch and direction (if diagonal, facing backwards, etc.)

With the 737s, the business cabins are displayed at what I believed are their maximum size, or least my interpretation of KLM's VRs images
- 7 rows in the 737-700
- 6 rows in the 737-800 (BSI refitted version)
- 8 rows in the 737-800 (original version, not currently mapped)
To the best of my knowledge the current information for both is a maximum of 5 rows and a minimum of 2 for J with the remainder of the extra-legroom seats + row 6 sold as comfort seats.

- 10 rows in the 737-900
So far as I know the 739s have a fixed business class cabin of 7 rows followed by 3 rows of economy comfort.

Perhaps someone will correct me on both but I believe that to be correct. As I said I don't get the opportunity to fly a 739 that often given there are only 5 in the fleet.

So is it the operational norm to sell whatever the number of seats with navy head rest covers located behind the curtain as Economy Comfort?
Yes, with a minimum of one row at row 6 (73G/738) except the 739 which has a fixed 3-row comfort section. I'll also admit I don't pay *quite* enough attention to this to recall off the top of my head but I do believe they swap out the covers; the J ones should be black.

For historical reference it used to be the case that in all 737s the first 10 rows had larger spacing to be sold as business, with the remainder sold as regular economy until the introduction of economy comfort on short haul when those rows were "upgraded" to Comfort. So one could get J legoom in Y by selecting row 10 or below. That then was later reduced to the first 6 rows. Only the 739 retains this configuration now.
