Would be nice if we could buy a seat for our pets and they fly as another paying passenger. I'd happily pay full fare J for my mini poodle (my wife would NEVER allow us to fly Polaris/First while the poodle flies cargo)
This reminds me that on one of my last 747 rides, it appeared that one passenger bought a seat in the upper deck for his german shepherd. The dog was well behaved and pretty much just sat on the seat for the whole flight, as far as I saw. I always wondered what the rules on that were.
