I’m helping a friend flying in international Polaris who has some special dietary requirements. I already let her know to set her expectations very low for the flight itself, which is overnight anyway.

What is realistic to expect in the Polaris lounges in IAD and EWR? She’ll be there for 2.5 and 5 hours, so it makes sense to eat there.

Food with less starch, gluten, and sugar would work (basically like the old “diabetic” meals). Does the PL kitchen take special orders?
