Just finished up a two day stay here. I didn't have any expectations since it seems more like a business hotel but I really enjoyed our stay here. As a globalist, we were upgraded to a suite as we were using free night certs. We're also able to check in two hours early.

Since Germany is now in 2G rules, vax status and id were checked at the door. You were given a bracelet to bypass this check point after everything was verified. As mentioned previously, the lounge is now in the Tizian lounge area off the lobby. I got into Hyatt right before COVID so I'm not experienced with lounges but I enjoyed it for a free drink on the way out.

Breakfast buffet was in full force with egg dishes to order. The room wasn't what I would call a suite and was oddly shaped but I appreciated the upgrade. The bathroom and shower were fabulous and the highlight of the room.

First time in Berlin, too and we enjoyed it. Had a hell of a time trying to convert our CDC cards to the Euro Covpass but once we found an apotheke to do the conversion, we had no issues travelling around the city. Certain restaurants and museums would not accept the US CDC cards.
