What an interesting afternoon.......

Get back to my room after a nice lunch and relaxing by the pool. I hear some noises coming from the hallway, didn't think much of it but it continue for quite some time. Then, I heart what sounded like water running. I check my shower and sink.....nope. Ok, whatever. Then go back to checking emails and then hear more noises, what the heck. I go to look out the peep hole to see who is yelling. Well, I stepped in a big mess of water coming into the room. For fear of what was on the other side, I just called reception. A frantic person on the other end said they would need to get me another room due to a pipe bursting. I get a call back and the person said the new room would not have the same view, I hated to tell them that a view of the Police General Hospital was not important to me particularly considering the circumstances. I had not seen what was going on until someone came up with new room key and to help move. It was a mess. They had put towels up in front of all the doors to try to keep the water out but it was simply too much and there was inches of water on the hallway with guys pushing the large laundry baskets full of water away.

Those poor guys are in for a long night. I think that end of the 18th floor and possibly all of it might be out of order for a bit!
