On the contrary, it is actually quite delicious. In France, I have seen cafes break pieces of chocolate into a pot and pour steaming hot milk over it. It's quite decadant, especially with a dollop of Chantilly. Try Angelina (rue de Rivoli) or Dalloyau.
It's actually the powdery stuff in America that's disgusting. Swiss Miss is an insult to the Federation.
