So if the root of the problem was really caused by bad DAs, things should not get bad like now at all.
I’m in Chicagoland for the holiday and I heard that there was a mega LV robbery in downtown Chicago. I don’t know details except it was in the local press.
someone else mentioned homeless in Sf - this homeless situation is all over the world. Even Chicago with 30-40 degree F weather has homeless. Tons of people by freeway exits with signs or tents or both. It still seems that nytimes has articles about homeless in Sf and nyc yet not articles about homeless in other places unless it’s an article about evictions.
people might be relocating out of Sf / ca yet a lot of these social problems are elsewhere.
