I am sorry to report that violent crime is spreading to the suburbs as well. Our town had its first carjack of the year (decade?) by a perp who was left behind by his buddies after he was tackled mid-robbery. Fortunately it ended well. The initial carjack occurred about a mile from my home. This follows the organized looting we have seen at suburban department and luxury stores. I know this would not be big news in Oakland...
