Total phone time about 45-60 minutes.

Just more terrible customer service. Just another United money grab attempt for providing ZERO service. Enough people with TravelBank balances will give up, pay for the ticket with a credit card, and then have their TravelBank funds expire so that UA keeps this free money.
FWIW, after several (more) failed attempts to buy a ticket with TravelBank funds on the full website over the past few months, each resulting in a long and annoying phone call to buy the ticket with TravelBank funds, tonight I purchased a ticket with TravelBank funds quickly and easily on the mobile app.

In contrast to the full website, where the ticket price is displayed on all payment pages, on the mobile app the price is NOT displayed on the last 2 payment pages when using TravelBank funds. I had to go back 2 pages to confirm the exact ticket price, fortunately it didn’t cause any problems.
