But if you've had a cancellation imposed by BA, you can normally call BAH and ask them to rebook you. Is there a BA codeshare for the IB flight you've been booked on. If so, call them up and ask to be rebooked on the BA codeshare. Explain it's for the double tier points offer - and how you were originally booked on a BA coded flight, before BA pulled the cancellation on you.
Thanks Zen, I thought as much. Unfortunately it was rebooked through me calling BAH, I just did not think to ask if it was a BA flight number and accepted the flight choice as the timings suited, as soon as I got the confirmation and saw it was IB flight number made me think it wont qualify and now I think I would not be able to change it again
