I would certainly welcome a service to Honolulu (maybe once weekly) at roughly 6200 nautical miles in comparison with Sydney to Los Angels at roughly 6500 nautical miles, I'm sure BA's 747-400 fleet would be more than capable as Qantas' 747's do LAX-SYD daily. ^

However I would also welcome a direct service to Las Vegas. Maybe the same two routes could some how alternate on a schedule out of Gatwick? @:-)

Honolulu (Hilton Hawaiian Village) and Las Vegas (The Venetian) are my usual yearly vacation destinations (perfect combination in my opinion), therefore not having to fly to PHX/LAX/SFO first to get to Vegas/Honolulu would be great!
