Isn't this the key problem? Hawaii's a leisure destination, likely to return low yields even if there is a big enough market.
But there are technical issues anyway - it's another 500 miles further than LON-SIN, great circle - and actual flight track distance might have to be rather longer due to the Polar regions. But I'm into spottie territory now and should give way to real expertise.
