San Diego is too close to LAX to be a viable route for BA. They'd be better off increasing the LHR -LAX frequency.

Of course BOAC flew there years ago, and Concorde has been to HNL - but I verymuch doubt that unless some sort of codeshare with AA were dreamed up it is a non-starter. Besides if we started flying there, we'd show the local competition up far too much (can't find a smilie of demure downcast eyes!! )
