The Cherry Creek properties would be a good choice this weekend if you don't mind activity. Lots of places to eat and it'll be busy with people as it's a shopping destination. New indoor mask mandate starts tomorrow, by the way. "Mask or Vax" is what Denver is calling it. Places that require proof of vax are exempted from mask mandate. Downtown (near Union Station) would be a good option and much easier to get to without a car on the train.
Thanks for the advice re: downtown. Looks like it is easy to travel between DEN and Union Station. I chose the Brown Palace, using a 35K FNC and applied a SNA, after calling and asking about the breakfast amenity. The front desk person took a few minutes to check; said something about breakfast for two could be in the restaurant or room service; but was not sure what options were available for breakfast for one! I'll report back on the Brown Palace thread.
