Many year ago on an old Eastern Airline flight from PHL-ALB, when they still served a full meal, we were coming in to land and they had not picked up the trays yet. They announced to just stuff the tray with plates, cutlery, glasses, etc into the pocket on the back of the seat in front of us. All I could think of was the ground crew having to clean all that up.
