When the first word in the title is “Inappropriate?” — yep, I agree with you 100%. The issue isn’t the blanket, it’s that the OP is trying to ring up the FA as crossing a line.
Me, personally, even if it stirred me from sleep, I would’ve smiled and taken one of those nice deep relaxing breaths …. It’s a very kind gesture, one designed to enhance comfort, not take away from it. Sorry the OP didn’t see it that way, but to call the FA inappropriate? That’s itself inappropriate.
