All said it was a great trip. I have had the chance to go some fantastic places in my life, and this trip ranks towards the top. That being said, I probably will not ever get back to the Seychelles Labriz. We constantly were comparing our experience to the St. Regis Bora Bora where we also stayed at a beach villa with a pool. To be fair, the St. Regis is in a category or two above the Seychelles Labriz. But its the measuring stick for us, and the Labriz fell short by comparison in just about every category except for the hiking opportunities (including seeing a giant coconut crab) and the secluded feeling (which was definitely helped with our room upgrade).
thats a pretty good review and i like the comparison with something else too (and it makes me want to go to bora bora).. we were there during the height of covid (oct 2020) and also found the food sub par, but given what was happening in the world we were just luckily to get away, i would have thought it might have improved by now. We were there for 10 days and felt that was about right for us. Note we didnt find the prices as silly as the maldives, but they were pretty high.
