So I had 2 free night Hilton certificates that were going to expire 1/3/22 and I'm going to the Special Edition Comic-Con this weekend at the San Diego Convention Center. I made a reservation with them for the Hilton Bayfront which seemed fine since I wasn't sure I was going anyplace else in the same time period. Now, they announced that they're extending the certificates to 7/22 and I am second-guessing. I haven't stayed here before--does it seem like a reasonable use of the free nights? My initial hope was to use them in Tokyo before they expire, but clearly, there's a lot of uncertainty involved with that at this point.
