Okay so if i have a large messenger bag with laptop and lot of electronics and its pretty bulky, and also have a fanny pack that i wear around my waist, make sure i buy a Blue seat then right in case? Thus don't take a chance on this?
Because if there is any issue when they check your bag size and its too big, then you have to check it in at the gate which will not only cost more? But the main issue is i have electronics there... have powerbank etc so that cannot be checked.
So based on that, buy the Blue fare right? Also i dont think my fanny pack will even fit inside my messenger bag because its already bulky.
I'm curious but how often do people just pay for the blue basic only to find out later when boarding that their bag is too big and they have to pay by gate check?
Also when you pay for the Blue Fare online when you buy the ticket, when you check in with Jetblue, they will check one of your checked bags. But they will then put a tag on your carry on to confirm you paid for the carry on right? So when you are getting ready to board, if they see you have that tag on your carry on, they won't say anything? But if you don't have a tag and the bag looks sort of big, then they will measure it? Can you confirm this part?
I know my fanny pack is definitely a personal item as it isn't that big.
