The tricky part of this initiative is that it will be applied first in East Asia, particularly Japan, while major properties in Europe and the US still use the current room category names. Do IHG think that Japanese people never complain? Do they want to use the fact that there are no complaints in Japan as evidence that they can be applied in other regions? It's ridiculous. If they think this is so beneficial, why don't they just implement it in the UK first, thier home nation. 👎👎👎
