Recently I flew on a B733 that had the new seats/seat configuration, as well as the new exterior colors. Yet the rest of the plane -- especially the bathrooms -- was in dire need of refurbishment. I spend an extensive amount of time on NW's DC-9 (most of which are nearly twice my age) and DC-10 and virtually all of those planes are in very good condition on the inside.

So I'm wondering if WN's refurbishing the aircraft interiors, or just putting new seats in?
