Did the chargeback put you on the Do Not Rent list? Hertz could say they refunded your points, but that ignores the issue. People redeem points to avoid paying for expensive rentals.

When I used points for a premium one-way at $176/day in the Piedmont south, if there had been a problem, I wouldn't have been happy with a resolution that involves me paying a rate I wouldn't have booked otherwise.
