Ba checkin deadline with bags at jfk is 60 mins iirc so you have less time than you think
February might also have winter weather and afternoon delays might be worse.
it may be possible if everything runs to time and with minimal delays at customs and immigration.
missing the BA flight might be costly.
Can you get an earlier flight?
