To turn a specific question into a blanket statement, there's not a published, scheduled D-D connection on AA at DFW that's even remotely uncomfortable in the physical get-from-gate-to-gate sense if one has the ability to simply walk at a normal pace. The issue is when your inbound flight is late or can't get a gate, or the outbound GA decides to shut the door and release the flight early. (Hello, MQ GAs!)
The issue is that no one can tell you when to feel uncomfortable or not. Today's 41 min connection might be fine, but the return connection at 1h34m might end up being a misconnect. There's just no way of knowing when you are going to lose the lottery.
ETA: Why do preclearance countries have a 1.00 MCT? Shouldn't those theoretically be the same as D-D?
