I made a points reservation back in the spring for a one week rental in August.

I got to the Gold Booth and they had no #1 club information.

when they printed out the receipt it had no credit for the points used.

I spoke with a manager and he explained the franchise is now managed by Thrifty Rent a Car

He sent me on my way saying someone would contact me.

no one contacted me.

after the full price rental posted I called Hertz and got the points back.

I then did a charge back with my credit card for the amount of the rental (not the taxes or fees)

I got the refund.

I now try to use Avis.
