Im Australian and want to move to France permanently with my French husband and therefor need to apply for a long stay family visa. From London where I am currently it says it could take 15-20 business days and even up to 2 months. The problem is we really need to be in france within 12 days. I have a NZ and Australian passport. (dual citizen)
Can I apply for the family visa for my Australian passport and then enter on a visa-free Schengen 90 day tourist visa on my NZ passport while I wait for the long stay visa to process?
Alternatively, can I apply for a spouse visa in France while on a tourist visa? I can't afford to leave after the 90 days as I would have just had a new baby and wont be able to travel.
