If booking through a group that is taking care of room and tax, you may still be able to earn points for incidentals depending on the group contract but booking through an OTA will definitely not let you.
I have some experience with miles, but not with hotel loyalties. I must admit I had to Google what

What do you mean? Hilton is matching any agency price?
Is that a thing?
And, TBH, my goal are the miles.
From my superficial research I was not able to find a method to convert Hillton Points to Miles&More for example, or to any other airline (as Marriott Bonvoy has).
