This article is almost 1 month ago, but somehow slipped from everyone's attention:

After 19 years at Hyatt, Claudio Ceccherelli will step down on December 1, 2021.

Claudio Ceccherelli, General Manager of the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme hotel, has decided to return to Italy, his country of origin, and be closer to his family.

Claudio joined Hyatt in 2002 in Italy where he participated, as General Manager, in the opening of the very first Hyatt hotel, the Park Hyatt Milan. After 10 years and after having successfully positioned the hotel as one of the best in the city, Claudio moved to France to the Hotel Martinez. In 2013, the hotel was bought by the Constellation group, which entrusted its management to Hyatt. Claudio's mission is to transform the hotel and its positioning under the Grand Hyatt brand. In 2016 he moved again to Paris to take over the management of the Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme. At the Park Hyatt, Claudio is successfully piloting the hotel's renovation and helping to strengthen the hotel's positioning among Parisian palaces.

From now on we wish him wonderful years to come, under sunny Italy.
Funny how his replacement worked at 2 PHs before but both have since left Hyatt

PH Vendome is corporate owned so I think it will stay in the system for long, but I agree that with this decline in service, its Palace status would soon be gone.
