basic question: are you eligible for Hilton points when you make your reservation with other agents i.e. Amex website, booking.com etc., or only on Hilton website?
I am a Hilton Gold by association with Amex, but never used this.
I am looking forward to a 14 days reservation and I'm weighing my options.

i.e. I found out you are not eligible to earn points with Marriott Bonvoy except if you make your booking directly on their website (obvious why).
Is it the same with Hilton? Or you gain points anyhow?
