These J seats are the new PY seats on 330 right?

If so, don’t think this is going to come as any surprise to anyone whos flown PY on the 787/777. AC went for the cheapest possible seat/materials in those - and it was pretty obvious within a couple of years of their rollout (chunks of material missing from the armrest, seats stained beyond redemption, cushions losing shape - anyone who’s connected to AC from LH will know what I mean).

Guess CR’s insistence on sourcing everything Y/PY exclusively from bargain basements won out here too. I was getting the sense that AC treats narrow body J as PY (exact same menu etc), and this kinda reinforces it.

Pity they went with the recline restriction: 7M8J = 777Y > 320J.
