What constitutes as a full size carry on? My messenger bag is pretty big as I do not believe you could put it under the seat. Well you could but i don't think it will fit under it fully. I certain am not checking the bag as i have lot of electronics there. I also have a fanny pack that have around my waist that easily can be put under the seat.

So buying the Blue Fare would work then? It shows on the site that it includes a carry on. So my big messenger bag would be the carry on... my fanny pack would be my personal item

I see last option is Blue Extra but that is just faster boarding and advanced seat selection right? I do not care about this. I want to make sure I could bring my messenger bag which has lot of my electronics so I could put it in the overhead bin. So you say make sure you buy the Blue Fare then online right? But someone else said you need to buy an even bigger seat for this? I do know Jetblue nor Delta nor American ever had an issue with me bringing my carry on with me in previous trips. But since I haven't flown with Jetblue for a while, I want to make sure Blue Fare at least it won't be an issue. So basically at checkin, they will look at your bag and tell you if you can bring it in as carry on or not right? So if you bought Blue, then you are fine But do they put a tag on your carry on though when you check in? I assume they have to right? So if your carry on is not full size... they let you bring that... along with a personal item such as a fanny pack?
