This hotel tied up with Marriott to put heads in beds. And with well less than 50 rooms to fill up, it won’t take a lot of heads to fill up beds once pre-pandemic travel levels are back to normal here. Quite a different dynamic than trying to fill up those giant boxes that are the Marriott and the AC.
If a partner, client or employer fusses over a hotel name on a viewed/submitted (expense) report/invoice/activity for a US-affiliated hotel stay, or if family and friends whip up a stink over a US-affiliated hotel being used because of a hotel name, then that’s a likely warning sign that the relationship has other problems. Can’t think of any reasonable character who is going to fuss over my use of this hotel because of its name. And either way, what’s this, only 31 rooms and suites in total? Once this property becomes more popular with Marriott elites and travel demand recovers even more, the better upgrades will be harder to land at this property.
