Such is the dilemma of flyertalkers including myself when I travel on my own dimes.

We wish UA fly to places that we want to go and question whether they act too slow due to increasing demand. Once UA starts the flights, we then feel demand does not justify the air fare being quoted. It is tough to operate an airlines.
