If you want to chat with a person, you need to type "Representative" in the Virtual Assistant window above. I used it a couple weeks ago to apply a RUC to a flight. The "Message Us" link on page below brings up the assistant window. I believe it was somewhat hidden for awhile during Covid (it was still there, but was only showing next to Hearing & Speech Impaired contact option).
