Yes, I have also noticed that Alaska is serving the same meals systemwide regardless of eastbound and westbound and northbound and southbound. I got the same breakfast on a ORD-SEA flight and ANC-ORD flight.

I guess cutbacks in first class will continue for a while. But at least there is still a meal. Bistro bags on your AA flight may become history soon, as well.
