Amex has all the data about my existing cards with them, my card usage and when they were opened. To send a targeted email to my Inbox and then to deny my application when I do apply is frankly not a good use of my time.

I am going to look at this as a blessing in disguise. Chasing down the missing credit for each advertised perk on all of my various Plat cards every month is getting to be a chore.
