Malaysia did something similar with Sipidan years back...moved everyone to Mabul. Has had a great recovery...only people on Sipidan are the police now and they limit the number of permits issued every day.

Agreed...did some diving when we were there. It was nice to see the government take action. Something like that would never happen in a place like the FL Keys.
